Black Box is a long-established network infrastructure brand, and its patch panels are the ones we carry for structured cabling: ten models covering Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A in 24 and 48 ports.
Feed-through panels. Most of the range is feed-through: a patch cable plugs into the back of each port and another into the front, so there is nothing to punch down. They come in 24 ports in 1U (JPM808A-R2 Cat5e, JPM814A Cat6 shielded, C6AFP70S-24 Cat6A shielded), 48 ports in a high-density 1U (JPM810A-HD and JPM806A-HD Cat5e, JPM820A-HD and JPM816A-HD Cat6) and 48 ports in 2U (JPM810A-R2 Cat5e, JPM820A Cat6).
Punchdown. The JPM5E24A is a 24-port Cat5e panel terminated the traditional way, with each cable landed on the back of the panel.
Shielded panels need a bonded rack to do their job; unshielded panels suit most offices and homes. Read patch panel vs keystone jack if you are deciding between them. Orders placed by 2 PM Central on a business day go to our warehouse partner that day, and most ship within 1 to 2 business days.
