Shipping policy
Most of what we sell ships from distribution centers across the United States, which keeps transit times short no matter where your job site is.
Processing
Orders placed by 2 PM Central on a business day go to our warehouse partner that day, and most ship within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed later go to the warehouse the next business day. HangLab mounts are made to order in Missouri and ship within 1 to 3 business days. You'll get a confirmation when the order is placed and a tracking number when it ships. Orders are not released until payment clears, and accounts on terms ship on receipt of the purchase order.
Where it ships from
The products we make ourselves, the ALM-M82 maglock mount and our printed wall mounts, ship from Missouri. Everything else ships directly from our distributor's nearest warehouse. If an order contains both, it arrives in more than one shipment, and checkout adds the shipping charge for each part together. Printed wall mounts add nothing.
Shipping charges
Ground shipping is charged by the weight of the whole order at checkout, so a bracket costs less to ship than a rack PDU. There is no free-shipping threshold.

The weight is the shipping weight: a large, light box is charged by its size, the way the carriers bill it. Checkout can't price an order over 80 lb, so email sales@rackit.com with the part numbers and the delivery ZIP code and we'll quote it.
Printed wall mounts ship free. They go by USPS from Missouri, and the postage is included in the price.
The ALM-M82 maglock mount ships from Missouri by UPS Ground, charged by quantity:

Racks, enclosures and freight
Larger racks and enclosures, and anything else that ships by truck freight, are sold by quote and can't be ordered online at the moment. Email sales@rackit.com with the part number and the delivery address, and we'll quote a delivered price before charging your card.
Truck freight is curbside delivery to a commercial address with a loading dock. Tell us up front if the delivery needs a liftgate, an appointment, a residential address or inside delivery, since carriers charge extra for each and we pass those charges through at cost. Inspect freight before signing, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
Addresses
Type the shipping address carefully. Our distributors validate addresses against USPS records, and an address that fails validation holds up the order until we reach you. We can ship to job sites, warehouses and residential addresses. We cannot ship freight to a PO box.
Where we ship
Checkout ships to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, DC. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the other US territories, and APO, FPO and DPO addresses are quote-only: checkout won't offer shipping there, so email us and we'll price it. Printed wall mounts ordered on their own are the exception and ship free to any US address. We do not ship internationally at this time. Some manufacturers restrict where their products may be resold, and we will tell you if that affects your order.
Lost or late shipments
Transit estimates come from the carrier and are not guarantees. If a shipment is late or goes missing, tell us and we'll open the claim and stay on it until it's resolved.
Trade accounts
Contractors and integrators buying regularly can apply for a trade account. We confirm pricing and payment terms with you directly before the first order. Email sales@rackit.com to start.
